On July 19, within the framework of the Leonid Levin Historical Workshop project, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Minsk ghetto, the SEPT Theater Studio together with the 3rd Act podcast will present the stage reading of the play “Memoria Nominis Clara” by Ksenia Shtalenkova. The play was written within the framework of the “Ready World” laboratory of  Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” and was first presented at the International Forum “TEART-10” in 2020.

The play takes place in Minsk, in the ravine of the Lower City, which later became known as “The Pit”. This is the place where 5,000 Jews from the Minsk ghetto were killed on March 2, 1942. Time of action – March 1941, March 1942 and our days, which are intertwined with the memories and dreams of the characters.

The reading starts at 16:50 Minsk time. The reading will take place in Russian with simultaneous translation into English. Age restriction: 16+
