Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” is a unique organization which is devoted to the realization of major cinematographic, theatrical, exhibition and educational projects. Among them are the International Theatre Forum “TEART”, Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” and many others.
We cooperate with cultural organizations all around the world. This cooperation makes it possible not only to show innovative performances and films in Minsk, but also hold Q&A sessions with their creators and organize master classes of the best filmmakers and theatre professionals.
Our main goal is to modify Belarusian cultural space and introduce viewers to the best examples of the world and Belarusian art. That’s why the Belarus Open showcase is a major part of the “TEART” Forum program, National Competition plays an important role in the development of MIFF “Listapad” and our exhibitions include works by Leon Bakst, Chaim Soutine, Marc Chagall and many other Belarusians. We also distribute Belarusian films within the framework of the project “Listapad. Belarusian Collection” and produce performances by young Belarusian directors.
Our history
Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” was created with the support of JSC “Belgazprombank” and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus
Centre “ART Corporation” was appointed the directorate of Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”
We have organized the first International theatre forum “TEART”, where 14 performances from 7 countries took part
We have started project theatre activity and created two own theatre productions — “Amazonia” and «The boat of despair»
We have opened museum expositions in Nesvizh, and also an exhibition “Belarus-Born Artists of the School of Paris” – the first step of the culture project “Art-Belarus”
The week of Japanese cinema was first held at the territory of the Commonwealth of Independent States
MIFF “Listapad” obtained the permanent accreditation of International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF)
The performances created by Centre “ART Corporation” based on texts of contemporary Belarusian playwrights were included in the program of “TEART” (“Patris”, “Short-time memory”, “Moody hockey-player”)
A full-value Belarusian program “Belarus open” was created within the framework of “TEART” Forum
Within the framework of MIFF «Listapad» the National Competition was held for the first time, where 24 feature, documentary and animation films took part
Start of the films distribution project “Listapad. Collection”
We have organized an international educational project for young culture managers “Art Leader School”
Starе of the “TheatreHD” project in Belarus
For the first time within the framework of MIFF «Listapad” an Industry section was organized. It became a meeting spot for professionals in the sphere of cinema
