“BLACKPINK in the Movies” will premiere on August 4 and 8 to celebrate the 5th anniversary of k-pop group BLACKPINK. In just four years, the Korean four have become one of the most famous girl groups in the world, and members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa continue to set music records. BLACKPINK is currently the most popular girl group on Spotify and the female music group with the most subscriptions on YouTube. Watch the grandiose film-concert in the cinemas “Tsentralnyi” (Minsk), “Rodina” (Mogilev) and “Cosmos” (Grodno).
The concert film will present an exclusive look at life, creativity and the path to the top of the musical Olympus of the BLACKPINK members. Fans will see the best fragments of the band’s concerts and documentaries of behind-the-scenes life. This impressive concert film will be a special gift for BLINK (BLACKPINK fandom) – it will relive unforgettable memories and enjoy colorful performances in a festive atmosphere.
The film consists of several episodes dedicated to the BLACKPINK members. “Room of Memories” – a part dedicated to the five years since the creation of BLACKPINK; “Beauty” – portrait sketches of each of the group members, revealing their distinctive features; “Exclusive Interviews” is a message for fans. Edited live versions of “THE SHOW” (2021), “IN YOUR AREA” (2018) and more than a dozen hits from BLACKPINK will be shown on the big screen, so that fans around the world will experience the same emotions as in a fan meeting or at live concert.
BLACKPINK has broken many online records throughout their career. Their music videos for the songs “Kill This Love” (2019) and “How You Like That” (2020) set records for the number of views within the first 24 hours after publication. BLACKPINK is the first music group to have four music videos hitting a billion views on YouTube at once.
