Visual and Performing Arts Centre “ART Corporation” strives to attract more devotees of auteur cinema. From June 3, the MOOON cinema will become not only a place for screenings of film masterpieces, but also a platform for our meetings with the audience. We are going to win the hearts of Grodno moviegoers, initiate an active cultural dialogue and invite you to watch and discuss the films of Lars von Trier and Bastian Günther online and offline.
ART Corporation shows films-winners of international festivals, novelties of auteur films and restored films that have become classics of world cinema. “ART Corporation” has a well-deserved reputation in Minsk as “a guide to the highest quality auteur cinema” and we look forward to meeting new audiences, theatre and cinema lovers in Grodno. The residents of Grodno are familiar with ART Corporation’s work within the framework of the TheatreHD project: on the big screen, theatre fans can see innovative performances created on the most famous stages of the world. The Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and even The Met Opera are getting closer with TheatreHD.

The film program of ART Corporation starts in Grodno with the premiere of the incredible thriller “One of these days”. The first screening of Bastian Günther’s film in Belarus will take place on June 3 at the MOOON cinema, the film will be presented by the film expert Igor Sukmanov. The film director Bastian Günther will greet the audience in Grodno online. The film distribution is supported by the German Films Foundation.
From 4 to 19 June, within the framework of the project “Weekends with Lars von Trier”, the director’s best films (in the original language, English or Danish, with subtitles) will be shown at the MOOON cinema in the TRINITI shopping mall. After screenings we will discuss the impressions with film expert Igor Sukmanov. Discussions of famous films have been successfully held in Minsk for more than a year and a half within the framework of the “Weekends with ..” project. Presenting the pictures, Igor Sukmanov acts as a guide for the audience through intricate cinema statements.
