Vlada Senkova’s film “II” (“Two”) was included in the program of the 26th Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”. The film shot by “ART Corporation” in collaboration with UNESCO IITE will be shown in the out-of-competition section “Special Screenings”. The youth drama “II” as part of the 26th Moscow International Film Festival will be shown on November 4 at the Pioneer Cinema.

At the moment, Vlad Senkova, together with the team, is presenting the film as part of the program of the 35th Warsaw Film Festival, one of the most prestigious International Film Festivals in Europe. The Warsaw IFF, together with the film forums in Cannes, Berlin and Karlovy Vary, is an A-Class film festival.

Youth drama “II” takes part in the competitive section “Free Spirit”. The world premiere of the film will take place on October 17. The results of the competition, in which another 13 films participate, will be announced at the closing ceremony of the festival on October 20.

The film heroes Sasha and Kristina who are 16 years old, study together in the tenth grade and live the ordinary teenage lives: lessons, tutors, going to the movies, parties. Strict discipline reigns in school and it is difficult to be different from everyone else. But one day this small world will be shocked over the news which will make all the fears and prejudices revealed.

The main roles in the film were played by young actors Alina Yuhnevich, Alexey Vainilovich and Ilarya Shashko.

Vlada Senkova’s movies previously took part in the Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”. In 2016, the drama The Count in Oranges was awarded the diploma For a Bold and Fresh Look at the National Competition. In 2017, the feature film program featured a short film by Vlada Senkova “From a great height” (“Paranoid android”, 2017).

Movie “II” was created by the Center of Visual and Performing Arts “ART Corporation” in collaboration with UNESCO IITE.
